Since 2006 the Beaune Blues Boogie Festival has brought boogie-woogie pianists and blues and swing bands from France and abroad to Beaune at the start of winter. Concerts, dinner shows and a musical tasting take place in venues across the town. The 2026 edition is the 20th.

## History

The festival began in 2006, and the pianist and teacher Pierre-Alexandre Petiot has been one of its pillars from the start. It has become a meeting point for lovers of swing and boogie-woogie, mixing international names with French talent.

## What to expect

Evenings are spread between La Lanterne Magique, the Théâtre de Beaune, La Comédie du Vin, the Hôtel de la Poste, the cellars of the Domaine Albert Bichot and the Ibis Beaune Centre. The 2026 line-up includes the Sebastian Ellis Quartet, Nicolle Rochelle and The Dimes, Henri Herbert, Katharina Alber and Jean-Pierre Bertrand, and the festival closes with a jam session brunch.

## Tips for the day

Evening concerts start at 20:30, with free early-evening sets on the Friday and Saturday and a brunch on the Sunday. The dinner shows and the musical tasting in the Albert Bichot cellars fill quickly, so book early on the festival website, festival-bbb.fr. December evenings are cold and the old centre has little parking at night; a driver makes it easy to combine a dinner show with a late concert.

## Did you know?

The 2026 edition is the festival's 20th.
