Now in its third decade, it has become a fixture of the Burgundy truffle season. ## What to expect The day puts the Burgundy truffle, Tuber uncinatum, and Burgundian cooking in the spotlight on the Place de la République and in the Salle des Capucins. At noon a giant truffle omelette is served in the Salle des Capucins, for 32 euros on registration, and a wine and truffle tasting is held at the Asile Charbonnel. ## Tips for the day Entry is free. Is-sur-Tille is about an hour from Beaune, just beyond Dijon, so the fête combines well with lunch in Dijon or a visit to the city's covered market.
