# Golden Coast Festival

> Golden Coast Festival: Three days of French and international rap in a park on the edge of Dijon.

Golden Coast is a festival devoted entirely to rap and hip-hop, held over three days at the end of August in the Parc de la Combe à la Serpent, on the western edge of Dijon. Its name plays on the Côte-d'Or and on the American coasts where hip-hop was born.

## History

The festival has taken place each summer since its first edition, and quickly became one of the major rap events in France. Its third edition, from 28 to 30 August 2026, brought together about fifty artists on four stages, with headliners including Damso, PLK, Sniper, Aya Nakamura and Busta Rhymes. The dates of the fourth edition, 27 to 29 August 2027, were announced on the festival's screens on its final night.

## What to expect

Expect big-name French rappers, rising artists and international guests playing across several stages from afternoon to late at night, with a festival campsite for those staying the whole weekend.

## Tips for the day

Tickets and passes are sold on the official website. In 2026 Dijon métropole ran free shuttles every five minutes from the Cité internationale de la gastronomie et du vin, near the station, until the early hours. For a smoother night, a private driver can pick you up after the last set, away from the shuttle queues.

## Did you know?

The name Golden Coast is a nod to the Côte-d'Or, whose name means golden slope.
