# Les Oenogourmandes

> Les Oenogourmandes: a wine and food fair in the medieval halls of Tournus abbey, every March.

## History

The fair is held each spring, and the 2025 fair was its seventh edition. Setting it inside the abbey buildings gives a wine fair an exceptional frame.

## What to expect

Visitors walk through the vaulted halls tasting from stand to stand, meeting growers and négociants and buying directly. Chefs' demonstrations and food stalls keep the afternoon going.

## Tips for the day

Entry was 5 euros in 2026. The fair is open from 10am to 8pm on Saturday and to 6pm on Sunday, in the refectory and cellar of the abbey on rue Gabriel Jeanton. Tournus is under an hour from Beaune by the A6, which makes it a neat half-day with a driver, perhaps combined with a visit to the abbey church.

## Did you know?

The fair is held inside the abbey buildings of Saint-Philibert, one of the great Romanesque churches of Burgundy.
