# Five days on the Côte d’Or

> Five days between the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune: the hill of Corton, the grand cru villages and the great whites, with transfers from Dijon station, Le Creusot TGV or Dijon-Bourgogne airport, from €695 per car for up to 4 guests.

- Length: 5 days
- Theme: First wine trip
- Price: from €695 per car

The Route des Grands Crus runs about 60 km from Dijon to Santenay, with Beaune roughly in the middle, so five days give each part of the Côte its time. The light plan spreads three outings over the stay: the hill of Corton, Chambolle-Musigny and a starred dinner at Ed.Em in Chassagne-Montrachet. The full plan books a half day on the hill of Corton and two full wine days, one for the Côte de Nuits and one for the white wine villages of the Côte de Beaune.

## Questions

### Who is this trip for?

A second trip, to go deeper than the classic villages. Travellers who like a balance of tasting days and free days. Arrivals by TGV at Dijon or Le Creusot. Guests on a business or private flight to Dijon-Bourgogne (the airport plan).

### What is the difference between the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune?

The Côte de Nuits, north of Beaune, is mostly red, from Pinot Noir. The Côte de Beaune makes great reds too, in Pommard and Volnay, and Burgundy's most famous whites, from Chardonnay, in Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet.

### Is five days too long for the Côte d’Or?

Not with free days: both plans leave room for Beaune itself, a walk in the vines or a bike ride between the tasting days.

### Can we add Chablis?

Yes: add a long wine day on the booking page, or choose our Chablis trip. Chablis is about 1 h 30 from Beaune each way.
