# Winter in Burgundy: the Saint-Vincent Tournante

> A winter weekend for the Saint-Vincent Tournante, Burgundy's wine festival held in a different village each January, with your driver to the host village and back, from €360 per car for up to 4 guests.

- Length: 3 days
- Theme: Seasons and events
- Price: from €360 per car
- [Saint-Vincent Tournante](https://www.cote-privee.com/events/saint-vincent-tournante): The next edition starts on 29 January 2027: the plan’s first day follows it.

On the last weekend of January, a different Burgundy village opens its cellars for the Saint-Vincent Tournante: the growers' societies parade with their statues of Saint Vincent in the morning, then visitors go from cellar to cellar with a tasting kit. Kits are sold online only, in advance, and parking in the host village is very scarce, so your driver drops you at its edge and collects you later. Winter Beaune is quiet: the Hôtel-Dieu and the Marché aux Vins open every day, and the truffle season runs until the end of January.

## Questions

### Who is this trip for?

Wine lovers who like Burgundy without the summer crowds. Travellers who enjoy a village festival. Anyone after a short winter break with one big day out.

### Where is the next Saint-Vincent Tournante?

In a different village each year, on the last weekend of January: the page of the [Saint-Vincent Tournante](https://www.cote-privee.com/events/saint-vincent-tournante) gives the next host village and dates, and the ride of the plan goes there.

### Do we need a ticket?

For the 2027 edition, in Volnay, yes: entry to the village is for holders of an adult or child kit, sold online only and in advance, none on the day. The page of the event gives the rules of each edition.

### Is Burgundy worth visiting in winter?

Yes, if you like it quiet: the big houses and the Hôtel-Dieu stay open, restaurants have tables, and the truffle season runs until the end of January. Small domaines receive fewer visitors, so book ahead.
