Burgundy is not only for wine lovers: castles, a medieval building site and sweet and mustard makers fill several days with children. The light plan mixes Beaune on foot, the fighter jets and racing cars of the Château de Savigny-lès-Beaune, a mustard workshop and one long castle day in the Auxois. The full plan swaps Savigny for Guédelon, where a 13th-century castle is being built by hand. Child seats are available on request.
