Burgundy has two gentle cycle routes made for a short trip: La Voie des Vignes, 22 km of small roads and vineyard tracks from Beaune to Santenay, and the Voie Verte de Bourgogne du Sud, a car-free greenway on an old railway line to Cluny. You ride each from its own base with bikes hired there, and your driver brings you and your luggage to Beaune, moves you to Cluny on the third morning and takes you to your train or plane at the end. The car carries people and their luggage, not bicycles.
