About the event
Each autumn the Parc naturel régional du Morvan holds a two-day fête at its headquarters, the Maison du Parc in Saint-Brisson. Farmers and craftspeople sell their produce, local associations show their work and visitors can have their own fruit pressed. The 2026 edition is free and open to all.
What to expect
Browse the big market of farm produce and local crafts, visit exhibitions on autumn fruit and forest wildlife, and bring your own fruit and bottles to the pressing workshop, where juice is charged by the litre on booking. That weekend the Maison des Hommes et des Paysages museum is free and the Musée de la Résistance offers a reduced rate. Food comes from the park's bistro and food trucks.
History
The fête is organised by the regional nature park and gathers the producers of the Morvan Terroirs association together with many of the clubs and societies of the massif.
The 2026 edition is the 20th: the pastry chef Lucile Vigilant of the Relais Bernard Loiseau in Saulieu has created a birthday cake made with Morvan chestnuts, and gives a cookery show on the Sunday.
