Day by day

The Côte de Beaune's great Chardonnay villages lie 9 to 18 km south of Beaune, close enough for a morning tasting and lunch in the village. The light plan gives Meursault a day and Puligny-Montrachet a morning, with the walk up to the Montrachet slope. The full plan tastes Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Saint-Aubin in one day, then the hill of Corton, where Corton-Charlemagne grows, before you leave.
