Day by day

This is the simplest way to discover Burgundy: you stay in your own hotel in Beaune, walk the old town, and leave the drives to your driver. The light plan books three moves: the arrival, a morning at the Château de Pommard and the drive back to your train or plane, with the rest of the time your own. The full plan adds a half-day wine tour on the first afternoon and the classic full day from Gevrey-Chambertin to Puligny-Montrachet.

Good to know

  • Book the domaines and the Château de Pommard when you book the car: family estates receive visitors by appointment, especially from May to mid-October.

  • Keep a Sunday for the town: many family domaines close, while the Hôtel-Dieu and the Marché aux Vins open every day.

A first visit, to understand the reds and the whites before choosing your own domaines. Travellers arriving by TGV at Dijon or by plane at Lyon. Anyone who prefers a calm plan with free time to a tasting marathon (light).
