About the event
The Festival de Lournand turns the square of a small village five minutes from Cluny into an open-air theatre for six days. Evening shows mix masked theatre, acrobatics, clowning, music and poetic circus, with a guinguette before and after.
What to expect
Arrive early for a drink and a bite at the festival guinguette, then settle in for the evening show. Afternoon shows for all ages take place in Cluny.
History
Run by the association Un P'tit Air de Festival, it has become one of the main summer events of the Clunisois, spreading in recent years to other villages of the area and to afternoon shows for families in Cluny.

Tips for the day
Tickets range from free to around 20 euros depending on the show and are sold online. Lournand is a small village with limited parking; being dropped off and collected after the show is simpler, and Beaune is about an hour and a quarter away.
