About the event
The Musicales bring chamber music to the southern Côte Chalonnaise at the end of each summer, in village churches, a wine estate and Buxy's own venues. After nearly every concert a local domaine pours its wine for the audience.
What to expect
Concerts start in the early evening in places such as the churches of Buxy and Saint-Boil, the Cary Potet greenhouse and the Maison Millebuis of the Buxy growers' cooperative. Tastings are offered by partner estates of Montagny and the surrounding villages, so music and wine are served in the same evening.
History
The festival reached its 25th edition in 2026, under the artistic direction of the trumpeter Romain Leleu. The anniversary programme ran from sacred choral music in Saint-Gengoux-le-National to a symphonic concert with the Winterthur Symphony Orchestra in Chalon's Saint-Vincent cathedral.

Tips for the day
Tickets are sold online, at around 18 euros for a standard concert in 2026, with reductions for several concerts. Venues are spread across small villages, and Buxy is about 45 minutes from Beaune, so being driven between concert and home after the tasting makes sense.
