About the event
The Trail de Pommard is a winter trail race from the wine village of Pommard, on white gravel tracks, natural paths and stretches right through the vines. Runners choose between about 15 km and about 9 km. It is usually run in mid-February.
What to expect
The 15 km climbs about 340 metres and the 9 km about 210 metres, over a mix of vineyard tracks and trails with views across the Côte de Beaune. The landscape of bare winter vines is very much part of the experience.
History
Run by local volunteers in a village spirit, the race has become a popular date in the Côte-d'Or's winter running calendar. In 2026 more than 500 runners took on the 15 km and more than 400 the 9 km.

Tips for the day
Registration is online through race platforms, where the 2027 date will be published. February mornings can be frosty, so bring warm layers for after the finish. Pommard is five minutes from Beaune, and a driver can bring runners and supporters back for a warming lunch.
