About the event
A week after the great Saint-Vincent Tournante, Dijon holds its own celebration of the winegrowers' patron saint. After a mass at the cathedral, growers carry their statue of Saint Vincent through the old town with brotherhoods and musicians, and a tasting village opens on Place Bossuet.
What to expect
Follow the colourful procession from the Cathédrale Saint-Bénigne, then taste at the stands of Dijon's growers on Place Bossuet, the city's wine market until the 17th century. In 2026 the programme also included lectures at the headquarters of the International Organisation of Vine and Wine and tasting workshops run by the École des Vins de Bourgogne.
History
The Saint-Vincent of Dijon was revived in 2012 at the initiative of the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin, through the Société de secours mutuel Saint-Vincent de Dijon, to bring together the growers of the metropolis. The 2026 celebration took place on Saturday 7 February.
