About the event
The Fête de la Truffe et des Papilles celebrates the Burgundy truffle and Burgundian gastronomy in the small town of Is-sur-Tille, north of Dijon. The 2026 edition, the 21st, starts at 10 am on the Place de la République, with free entry.
What to expect
The day puts the Burgundy truffle, Tuber uncinatum, and Burgundian cooking in the spotlight on the Place de la République and in the Salle des Capucins. At noon a giant truffle omelette is served in the Salle des Capucins, for 32 euros on registration, and a wine and truffle tasting is held at the Asile Charbonnel.
History
The fête is organised by the Covati, the community of communes of the Tille and Ignon valleys, with its tourist office and the support of truffle growers' associations. Now in its third decade, it has become a fixture of the Burgundy truffle season.

Tips for the day
Entry is free. Is-sur-Tille is about an hour from Beaune, just beyond Dijon, so the fête combines well with lunch in Dijon or a visit to the city's covered market. With a driver nobody has to drive home, and your truffles travel with you.
