About the event
Vignobles en Scène is a national wine-tourism weekend in which French wine destinations put on special experiences, and the Côte-d'Or takes part each October. Around Beaune, estates and producers offer shows, dinners, tastings and walks that are only available that weekend.
What to expect
The 2026 programme around Beaune includes a cabaret show with dinner at the Château de Savigny-lès-Beaune, inspired by Jacques Copeau's troupe, who reinvented theatre with the growers of these villages a century ago, a wine and cheese workshop at a Beaune estate, a paulée dinner at the Nuiton-Beaunoy cellar, free cellar visits on the Sunday and the Foulée des Vendanges race in Savigny.
History
The weekend is run by the Vignobles & Découvertes network, the national label for wine-tourism destinations, and replaced its former Fascinant Week-end. In Burgundy, the destinations along the Route des Grands Crus use it to showcase their growers, their know-how and the vineyards in autumn.

Tips for the day
Most experiences have limited places and must be booked in advance, often through the Beaune tourist office. The weekend falls at the end of the harvest season and hotels fill up, so reserve early. Experiences are spread between Savigny, Beaune and the Côte de Nuits, and a driver lets you string two or three together in a day without anyone having to drive.
