About the event

Each June the Dijon-Prenois circuit, a short drive north-west of Dijon, hosts nearly 300 historic racing cars for the Grand Prix de l'Âge d'Or. Spectators can walk the paddock, watch endurance and touring car races from past decades and browse model cars and motoring books.

What to expect

Grids of classic endurance prototypes, touring cars and sports cars take turns on the track through the weekend. In the open paddock you can see the cars prepared in temporary garages and meet the racers, and clubs and collectors take part in their own track sessions.

History

The first Coupes de l'Âge d'Or were held in 1964 at Rouen-les-Essarts, as a support race for the French Formula 1 Grand Prix, which makes this the oldest historic racing event in France. After a spell at the Linas-Montlhéry autodrome, it moved to Dijon-Prenois in 2004. The 61st edition took place from 5 to 7 June 2026, organised by Peter Auto.
