About the event

Jazz O'Verre's autumn festival brings four days of jazz to Beaune at the end of September, in the Ateliers du Cinéma and the historic centre. Run by a local association, it pairs concerts with the town's wine culture. The 2026 edition is the tenth.

What to expect

Each day has a theme. In 2026 the Thursday was devoted to the piano, with Giovanni Mirabassi, the Friday to brass, with the Swing Brothers and Nicolas Folmer, the Saturday to strings and voices, and the Sunday ended with a picnic jam session.

History

The association Jazz O'Verre works with the town of Beaune and the Côte-d'Or department to bring jazz to the capital of Burgundy wine. Besides the autumn festival, it organises spring concerts, including a concert with a wine tasting, and street performances in the town centre on Saturdays.

Tips for the day

Tickets are sold on the association's website. Late September is harvest time and a busy season in Beaune, so book accommodation early. Venues are in the town centre, and a driver can collect you after the last set.
