About the event

Show les papilles is Dijon métropole's free festival of taste, a day of tastings, chef demonstrations and meetings with local producers at the Cité internationale de la gastronomie et du vin. It celebrates the know-how behind Dijon's mustard, gingerbread, cassis and wines.

What to expect

Taste regional products for free, watch pastry chefs and cooks at work, join workshops and meet producers and artisans across three themes: heritage know-how, everyday cooking and the food of tomorrow. The Cité's wine school runs paid tasting initiations the same day.

History

The festival is part of Dijon métropole's yearly celebration of gastronomy and reached its eighth edition in September 2025. It is now held at the Cité, which opened in spring 2022. Heritage businesses such as Mulot et Petitjean, Fallot, Lejay Lagoute and Védrenne have offered free tastings. The 2026 edition takes place on Saturday 10 October.
