About the event

On summer Sundays, Dijon's covered market becomes a dining room. Partner chefs design a brunch of sweet and savoury dishes made with local and regional produce, served under the iron roof of Les Halles with music and a festive setting.

What to expect

Settle at a table under the market roof and work through a brunch composed by the chef of the week, with live music and performances around you. It is a relaxed way to discover the market hall and the flavours of Burgundy in one sitting.

History

The Brunch des Halles, booked through Dijon's tourist office, has become a summer habit for locals and visitors. Its 11th edition ran every Sunday from 21 June to 20 September 2026.

Good to know

Tips for the day

Book online or at the tourist office on rue des Forges; bookings for each Sunday close on Saturday evening and often sell out earlier. In 2026 prices started at 29 euros. Les Halles are in the pedestrian heart of Dijon, so a private driver can drop you close by and pick you up after lunch.

Questions

The 2027 dates of Le Brunch des Halles have not been announced yet. Usual timing: every Sunday from late June to late September.. The organiser publishes them on destinationdijon.com.

Did you know? Dijon's market hall is often credited to Gustave Eiffel, a son of the city, though his workshops only supplied early plans.
