About the event

Chambolle-Musigny's twinning committee organises a walk through the village, its climats and the edge of the Clos de Vougeot, with five stops to eat and drink. The route runs from Bonnes-Mares to Musigny, past vineyards with names like Les Amoureuses and Les Charmes.

What to expect

Start with an aperitif at the village hall, then walk about eight kilometres through the vines. Stops have included regional charcuterie with a white Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, oeufs en meurette near the Clos de Vougeot with a Chambolle-Musigny village wine, cheese with a Chambolle premier cru, and a return to the village for tart and coffee.

History

The walk has been organised each spring by the Comité des jumelages de Chambolle-Musigny, with editions on 14 May 2023, 12 May 2024, 18 May 2025 and 10 May 2026. The 2026 walk brought together about 220 people.

Tips for the day

Registration is required and the walk runs from late morning to late afternoon. The paths are gentle and have been suitable for pushchairs. Bring comfortable shoes and a hat. With five wine stops, it is the kind of day where a private driver waiting at the finish makes sense.
