About the event

Every Friday in summer, the tourist office of Gevrey-Chambertin and Nuits-Saint-Georges turns the Halle Chambertin into a meeting place for wine lovers. Each evening brings tastings, meetings and gourmet moments in the heart of one of Burgundy's most famous villages.

What to expect

Book an evening, taste the wines chosen for the night with food to match, and share a table with other wine lovers. The Halle is in the centre of Gevrey, a few steps from its cellars and wine bars, and its modules answer the questions most visitors bring: what a Climat is, and how a premier cru differs from a grand cru.

History

The Vin'dredis, a play on vendredi, the French for Friday, are run by the Gevrey-Chambertin and Nuits-Saint-Georges tourist office. The 2026 season began on Friday 29 May.

The evenings take place in the Halle Chambertin, the village's former market hall, built in 1830, which now houses the tourist office and a discovery trail of 15 interactive modules on the Climats of the vineyard, the Combe Lavaux nature reserve and the traditions of Gevrey.

Tips for the day

Places are limited, so book online or at the tourist offices in Gevrey-Chambertin, 1 rue Gaston Roupnel, or Nuits-Saint-Georges, open Tuesday to Saturday from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm. Evenings are a fine way to end a day on the Route des Grands Crus, and a private driver means you can enjoy the tasting and still get back to your hotel easily.
