About the event
On the first weekend of May, the growers of Savigny-lès-Beaune, ten minutes from Beaune, open their cellars for Bienvenue à Savigny. Entry is free, and a single glass lets you taste Savigny village and premier cru wines and Crémant de Bourgogne across the village.
What to expect
Growers pour in their own cellars, and a small train carries visitors between cellars and around the village. Street musicians, exhibitions, merry-go-rounds and pony rides keep the mood festive, a jeep tour of the vineyard has been offered, and food is available to take away.
History
The weekend gives visitors the chance to discover the different climats of the appellation, from village wines to premiers crus, directly from the people who farm them. In 2026, nineteen estates took part.

Tips for the day
The tasting glass cost 9 euros in 2026. The village is easy to reach from Beaune but fills up on sunny weekends, and parking near the cellars is limited. A driver can drop you in the centre and collect you later, which also makes it easy to continue to Pernand-Vergelesses or Aloxe-Corton.
