About the event
Beaune Saveurs de Vignes is a gourmet walk of about 7 km through the vineyards of Beaune, with six stops that together make a full meal. At each stop growers and wine houses pour Beaune and Beaune premier cru wines to match the food. The 2026 edition is the 15th.
What to expect
Groups set off every half hour from the Cuverie des Hospices Civils de Beaune and follow a marked route through the vines. The menu is classic Burgundy: gougères, jambon persillé, oeufs en meurette, chicken Gaston Gérard, local cheeses and a dessert, each served with wines presented by the growers. Music and surprises line the route, and walkers meet again at the start for a convivial evening.
History
The walk is run by volunteers of the Beaune Handball club, with tickets sold through the tourist office. Family estates and wine houses use it to show visitors the terroirs of Beaune on foot, in vineyards that are part of the Climats inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Tips for the day
Book early through the tourist office; in 2026 the price was 55 euros until mid-March and 65 euros afterwards, with an alcohol-free option at 50 euros. Wear walking shoes and bring a hat, as the route runs through open vineyards. Ascension is a holiday weekend in France, so reserve hotels early, and plan a driver for the return, since you will have tasted at six stops.
