About the event
Montrachet Jazz brings French and international jazz musicians to Puligny-Montrachet for a weekend at the end of May. Between and during the concerts, local estates pour the white wines of Puligny and its neighbours, and chefs cook to match. The 2026 edition is the second.
What to expect
In 2026 the Saturday concerts ran from 18:00 to midnight and the Sunday from 11:00 to 16:00, with artists such as Ben L'Oncle Soul and the Django Festival Allstars and a Montrachet Jazz Band formed for the event. Estates including Domaine de Montille, Olivier Leflaive, Lucien Muzard, Jean-Marc Pillot and Joseph Colin poured wines from Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin, Santenay and Meursault.
History
The festival is one of Burgundy's newest: its first edition was held on 24 and 25 May 2025. It was co-created by COMO Hotels and the event agency Hautes Côtes, and brings together growers, jazz artists and visitors in the heart of the village.

Tips for the day
Tickets are sold on the festival website. The festival takes place on the Place du Pasquier de la Fontaine in the village, and Puligny has very little parking for an event of this size. With grand white Burgundies served until midnight, arranging your driver in advance is the sensible choice. Rooms in Puligny, Chassagne and Meursault are limited, so book early.

The 2027 dates of Montrachet Jazz have not been announced yet. Usual timing: usually the last weekend of May, Saturday evening and Sunday. The organiser publishes them on montrachetjazz.com.
Did you know? The festival was created only in 2025, and its 2026 line-up included a band formed specially for it, the Montrachet Jazz Band.
