About the event

Held alongside the Hospices de Nuits wine auction, this half marathon takes runners out of Nuits-Saint-Georges and through some of the most famous vineyards in the world, including a passage inside the walls of the Clos de Vougeot. A 10 km race, a Nordic walk and children's races complete the day.

What to expect

Runners choose between the half marathon and the 10 km, while walkers take the Nordic walk in the morning. Along the course there is music and refreshment stops with local produce, including tastings in Vougeot and Vosne-Romanée. Spectators can watch the start and finish in Nuits-Saint-Georges and then carry on to the growers' salon in the covered market.

History

The race reached its 24th edition on Saturday 7 March 2026, the day before the 65th Hospices sale. Its course passes some of the most famous grands crus of the Côte de Nuits, among them Romanée-Conti, Grands-Échezeaux and La Tâche, and goes through the Clos de Vougeot. The 10 km race is known as the Foulées Delin.

Tips for the day

Entries open months ahead through the organisers and running platforms. The course uses the vineyard roads between Nuits, Vosne and Vougeot, so plan any tastings around the race. After the finish, a private driver saves tired legs and means you can raise a glass without thinking about the wheel.
