About the event

For more than forty years, Marsannay-la-Côte has opened the spring with a weekend of food and wine at the Espace du Rocher. Around 45 producers from Burgundy and other French regions bring cheeses, charcuterie, sweets and wines, and the local gourmets' brotherhood welcomes new members.

What to expect

Stroll between the stands, taste and buy regional specialities and wines from Burgundy, the Jura, Alsace, the Loire and Champagne, and stay for a meal on site. Music, games and children's activities run through both days, and the brotherhood's inductions add a touch of Burgundian ceremony.

History

The Journées Gourmandes reached their 42nd edition on 7 and 8 March 2026. They were first run by Marsannay's tourist office and, since 2017, by the association Marsannay Initiatives. The Confrérie des Gourmets de Marsannay en Bourgogne takes part each year and inducts new members, as part of its mission to promote the wines of the Côte de Nuits and of Marsannay in particular.

Tips for the day

The fair takes place at the Espace du Rocher, on rue du Rocher in Marsannay-la-Côte, just south of Dijon. In 2026 a free shuttle ran from the Carrefour car park, and the fair fell on the same weekend as the Hospices de Nuits sale, a pairing that makes a fine trip down the Côte with a private driver handling the road between tastings.
