About the event

Le Parcours des Tréteaux is an evening show that turns the village of Pernand-Vergelesses into a stage. Led by actors, spectators walk from cellar to cuverie and wash house, and at six stops growers serve Pernand wines with carefully chosen dishes. It is played on several evenings.

What to expect

The walk lasts more than three hours and mixes theatre, music, dance and humour, in real cellars, cuveries and wash houses transformed for the show. The six food and wine pairings showcase Pernand-Vergelesses village and premier cru wines, served by the growers themselves, and about 200 spectators take part each evening.

History

The show was created by Matthieu Denis, a humorist from the area, and each edition tells a new story. The seventh edition, in 2024, was Les Contes des mille et une vignes, about a sultan in Pernand, and in 2026 the show was Moulin à Rouge, a comic murder mystery set in the village's imaginary nightlife. Around 150 volunteers bring it to life.

Tips for the day

Tickets cost 75 euros in 2026 and every evening sold out, so book as soon as sales open. Wear comfortable shoes for the village lanes. Pernand is ten minutes from Beaune, and after three hours of tasting, a driver waiting at the end of the show is the obvious way home.
