About the restaurant
CIBO is Angelo Ferrigno's one-star restaurant on rue Jeannin in the historic centre of Dijon, and in March 2026 it was one of the last restaurants in France to receive a MICHELIN Green Star before the guide retired that distinction. Go for a set menu built entirely from producers within 200 kilometres of the city, cooked with precision by one of Burgundy's most talented younger chefs.
The story
Ferrigno is a Dijon native of Italian and Portuguese parentage who began his training at fourteen at the catering school in nearby Longvic. In 2016 he became France's youngest starred chef of the year at La Maison des Cariatides, then opened CIBO on 11 June 2020, between two lockdowns. The star came in the 2021 guide, only months after opening.
At the end of 2025 the restaurant closed for a major renovation that extended it across the whole of its seventeenth-century stone building, with a bakery, a wine cellar and guest rooms planned upstairs. It reopened in April 2026, having kept its star and gained a Green Star for sustainable gastronomy in the 2026 selection, shortly before MICHELIN retired the Green Star in May 2026.
The cooking
The rule is simple and demanding: every ingredient comes from within about 200 kilometres of Dijon, from breeders, market gardeners, craftsmen and winegrowers the team spent more than a year seeking out. Freshwater fish such as Saône catfish and trout feature prominently, other animal proteins are used sparingly, and fermentation and preserving keep waste close to nothing. Menus are presented as a walk around Dijon in several sequences, each available in a classic or a vegetarian version. The wine list favours organic and biodynamic growers.
Your evening
How the evening works
- 1Book your table
Directly with the restaurant. Weekends, the harvest and the Hospices de Beaune auction in November fill up weeks ahead.
- 2Book the car
Choose the restaurant on our booking page: pickup at your hotel at the time you like, and a fixed price for the return trip.
- 3Back to your hotel
Your driver waits nearby while you dine, up to 3 hours, then drives you home. Nobody has to drive.
Tips for your visit
The official site lists lunch menus from about 80 euros and a longer dinner menu, but prices and opening days may have changed since the 2026 reopening, so check the website and reserve ahead, particularly for dinner. Tell the restaurant about allergies or dietary needs when you book, as the menus can be adapted. The restaurant sits in the old town a few streets from the Palais des Ducs, where parking is scarce, so arriving with a private driver is the easy way to enjoy the pairing and return to your hotel afterwards.
